As all of the mp3 audio files on Julian Wagstaff's Music pages are quite large (at least 2 megabytes, some of them nearly 9 MB), you will really need to have a broadband or other fast internet connection to be able to download them. (Though some of the songs from the musicals could be downloaded OK with a dial-up connection).
You will need Windows Media Player or a similar program to play the MP3 files, though in almost all cases your computer will already have
an appropriate application installed. In this case, all you need to do is click once on an MP3 link and the track will download and play automatically.
If you experience problems, or if you are using a slow Internet connection (e.g. 56K), then it will probably be more reliable to right-click with your mouse on the mp3 file link and then select "Save Target As..." from the pop-up menu. This will save the MP3 file to your computer's hard drive at a location of your choice (e.g. your desktop), and you can then open it from there, either by double-clicking the file icon or opening the file from within Media Player or a similar application.
