American flautist Kim Hickey will give a performance of Julian's piece Hebridean Sunset Rag in an arrangement for flute and piano, as part of a concert entitled Old, New, Borrowed and Blue.

Edinburgh Festival Fringe

A new show entitled Song to Me - the music and songs of Julian Wagstaff is currently being developed for presentation on the 2015 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Performed by professional musicians from Scotland's top ensembles, and professional singers from around the UK, the production will feature highlights from Julian's chamber music, together with songs and arias from his musicals and operas of the past fifteen years. The running time will be approximately 1 hour. Click here to buy tickets.

A concert and launch event is being planned to celebrate the release of the new CD recording of Julian Wagstaff's chamber opera Breathe Freely and piano trio A Persistent Illusion. Further details will be announced very soon (May/June 2015).
