Edinburgh Festival Fringe

A new show entitled Song to Me - the music and songs of Julian Wagstaff is currently being developed for presentation on the 2015 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Performed by professional musicians from Scotland's top ensembles, and professional singers from around the UK, the production will feature highlights from Julian's chamber music, together with songs and arias from his musicals and operas of the past fifteen years, including Breathe Freely, John Paul Jones and The Turing Test. A launch event is being planned to celebrate the release of the new CD recording of Julian Wagstaff's chamber opera Breathe Freely and piano trio A Persistent Illusion on the Linn Records label. We are delighted to announce that the event will feature live performances from many of the performers who appear on the recording. Further details will be announced very soon (June 2015).
