February 2012 (TBC) - ASCUS, St. James Centre, Edinburgh
Julian will give an illustrated talk (with musical examples) on his recent compositional work informed by the natural sciences. The event is organised by ASCUS - arts science collaborative. Details will be confirmed shortly.

October 2012 (TBC) - The Turing Test (opera) UK Tour
Julian is planning a UK tour of a new professional production of his chamber opera The Turing Test to coincide with the Alan Turing centenary year 2012. It will be conducted by James Lowe.
